Marion County Fire District No.1 is accepting applications packets for a seasonal logistics assistant.
This position is seasonal up to 15 weeks and full time. This position will primarily work Monday through Friday. Schedules and hours can be discussed.
FUNCTIONS

This seasonal job will help assist the logistics department through general station maintenances. Job duties can include, pressure washing, painting, general janitorial work, landscaping and more.
COMPENSATION
- Hourly wage of $25.00
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma
- Valid and insurable Oregon driver’s License by appointment date.
POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
-
Must work in various strained positions requiring crawling, bending, reaching and standing on concrete floors; close hand and eye coordination in performing critical assembly and adjustments; moderate-to-heavy lifting up to 75lbs when pulling; pushing or lifting assemblies and working from heights and/or ladders as necessary to perform essential job functions as described.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
- NFPA Driver or equivalent
